Ronald Talaway is a legal practitioner who pursued his legal education at the Faculty of Law, University of Surabaya (UBAYA) in 2002. He began his legal career by working and practicing law at his father’s law office, Pieter Talaway & Associates. Throughout his professional career, he has handled various prominent legal matters and represented notable individuals and corporations in Indonesia. Among his notable experiences, Ronald Talaway served as legal counsel for Trisulowati, a prominent Surabaya businesswoman widely known as Cin-Cin, the owner of the well-known business Empire Palace. He also represented NAV Karaoke in a copyright dispute involving the band Radja. Together with his law office, he acted as legal counsel for PT Gudang Garam Tbk in the “Gudang Baru” trademark dispute and represented PT Interbat in filing a criminal report concerning the counterfeiting of licensed Interlac probiotic products, among many other legal matters. Ronald Talaway also represented PT Siam Maspion Terminal in filing a compensation claim related to the collapse of a trestle jetty. In addition, he served as legal counsel alongside Hotman Paris Hutapea for Teddy Minahasa. In 2026, together with Andrew Wijaya and Brillian Willis, Ronald Talaway founded Ronald Talaway & Partners, a law firm committed to delivering professional, responsive, and high-integrity legal services. Licensed to practice as an advocate in Indonesia and affiliated with the Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI). Ronald Talaway continues to uphold ethics, professionalism, and the principles of justice in carrying out his legal profession, both through litigation and non-litigation services, in accordance with the needs of society and the modern business environment.
